Modern and Glam Bel-Air Wedding Featured on Inside Weddings
One of the favorite weddings I’ve ever designed was recently featured on Inside Weddings! This modern and glam Bel-Air wedding in classic black-and-white with gold accents was truly one for the books.
I was honored to work with this sweet couple to bring their wedding visions to life. Together we created a romantic fête with an artsy vibe in their desired color palette of ivory, black, and gold. From start to finish, this summer wedding at Hotel Bel-Air was the epitome of modern, edgy glam.
Guests gathered in the hotel's famous garden with a “Swan Lake'' setting to witness the couple exchange vows beneath a ceremony structure adorned with white roses and hydrangeas. After cocktail hour, guests located their escort cards displayed on a "Our Love Is Bulletproof" gold sign and found the way to the grand ballroom where the reception would take place. When the doors opened, guests revelled in awe at the sight of the majestic space and the unique decor.
The focal point of the ballroom was the grandiose sweetheart table with overflowing orchids and a magnificent backdrop featuring roses in manicured shapes surrounded by avant-garde style black palm art.
For the reception guests were seated on white-and-gold chairs placed by mirrored top gold tables beneath stunning mid-century modern starburst chandeliers. Each table was adorned with black taper candles, floating candles, and a mix of low and towering centerpieces featuring white roses accented with black fan palms.
